Dear Reader,

They’re back. The central planners. The socialists.

The people who think they are smart enough to run your life.

  • The socialists have a new toy. Artificial Intelligence. They believe that a big enough computer can finally make their failed dream of a planned economy work.

  • The fatal flaw in their plan is not about computing power. It’s about information. Real economic knowledge doesn’t exist in a database.

  • This isn’t an academic debate. This is a fight for your freedom. The push for AI-powered central planning is a push for total control.

They have a new god. A new idol. A new excuse for their old, failed religion.

It’s called Artificial Intelligence.

For a hundred years, they have been promising a paradise on earth.

A world without poverty. A world without inequality. A world where the experts are in charge and everything is planned for the common good.

And every time they have tried it, it has ended in disaster. Famine. Gulags. Collapse.

But this time, they say, it’s different. This time, they have the technology. They have the data.

They have the algorithms. They have AI.

My poor dad would have been fascinated by this. He was a Ph.D. He believed in experts. He believed in planning.

He would have thought that a powerful enough computer could solve all our problems. He was a brilliant man, but he was a financial fool.

My rich dad would have seen this for what it is. The same old scam in a shiny new package. He taught me that the economy is not a machine.

It’s a conversation. A conversation between millions of people, all making their own choices.

And he taught me that anyone who tries to control that conversation is either a fool or a tyrant.

The Ghost in the Machine

The socialists have always had a computer fetish.

In the 1970s, they tried to build a computerized command economy in Chile.

It was called Project Cybersyn. It was a disaster. It didn’t stop the shortages. It didn’t stop the black markets. It didn’t stop the collapse.

They said the technology wasn’t good enough. They said they didn’t have enough data. They said they didn’t have enough computing power.

Now they have it all. They have big data. They have machine learning.

They have AI that can beat a grandmaster at chess. And they think that this time, they can finally make their dream work.

They are wrong. And the reason they are wrong is simple.

It’s a reason that an Austrian economist named Ludwig von Mises figured out a hundred years ago.

The Knowledge Problem

The problem with central planning is not about processing information. It’s about creating it.

In a free market, prices are the information. A price is not just a number. It’s a signal.

It’s a signal that contains an incredible amount of knowledge.

The knowledge of supply and demand. The knowledge of scarcity and abundance.

The knowledge of what millions of people want and what they are willing to pay for it.

Where do prices come from? They come from private property.

They come from people buying and selling things that they own.

Without private property, you can’t have markets. Without markets, you can’t have prices. And without prices, you can’t have an economy. You just have chaos.

This is what the AI enthusiasts don’t understand. They think that knowledge is just data that you can pour into a computer.

But real economic knowledge is not like that. It’s decentralized.

It’s local. It’s in the heads of millions of entrepreneurs, workers, and consumers.

It’s the knowledge of a farmer who knows his land. The knowledge of a machinist who knows his tools. The knowledge of a mother who knows what her family needs.

You can’t collect that knowledge in a database.

It only gets revealed through action. Through the buying and selling of a free market.

The Tyranny of the Algorithm

So what happens when the central planners try to use AI to run an economy? They will fail. But it will be a very dangerous failure.

Because this is not just an economic debate. It’s a debate about freedom.

When a central planner makes a mistake, everyone suffers.

When an entrepreneur makes a mistake, he goes out of business. The market corrects the error.

But there is no market to correct the errors of a central planner.

And an AI-powered central planner will be the most dangerous of all. Because it will have the power to control every aspect of your life.

What you buy. What you sell. Where you work. Where you live.

It will all be optimized by the algorithm. For the “common good.”

It’s the ultimate tyranny. A tyranny of good intentions. A tyranny of data. A tyranny of the so-called experts who think they know better than you.

Your Personal Economy

You cannot fight the algorithm. You cannot argue with the machine.

You can only unplug.

You have to build your own economy. An economy that is outside their system. An economy based on real things. Real assets.

Gold and Silver: The money of kings. The money of free people. It has no counterparty risk. It is not a data point in a government computer.

Bitcoin: The decentralized alternative. A network that cannot be controlled by any single entity. It is the 21st-century version of gold.

A Business: Be a producer, not a consumer. Create value. Solve problems.

Build a system that serves people, not a system that controls them.

The AI-powered planned economy is coming.

It’s the final dream of the socialists. And it will be their final, and most catastrophic, failure.

Make sure you are not a part of it.
