Why Trump Really Wants Venezuela (Hint: It's Not Democracy)

Dear Reader,

The Oil Grab

It's happening right now.

The US is making its move. And it's not pretty.

You want to know why? Our military is stretched thin. Our fancy aircraft carriers? Sitting ducks. Russian hypersonic missiles can turn them into scrap metal in minutes.

Everyone knows it. But American ego is a dangerous thing.

So where do we go? The easy pickings. Our own neighborhood.

Canada. Mexico. Brazil. Panama and that precious canal.

And now? Venezuela.

  • Venezuela has 303.8 billion barrels of oil (more than Saudi Arabia) but production crashed from 3M to 800K barrels daily due to sanctions and mismanagement

  • While Trump threatens military action, calling it "democracy," China quietly invested $1B in Venezuelan oilfields and buys 90% of their oil exports

  • Energy is only 3% of S&P 500 (less than a quarter of Nvidia alone) while geopolitical oil wars escalate—smart money follows the real action underground

The Real Prize

Trump versus Maduro. Political theater at its finest.

But forget the show. Follow the money.

Venezuela sits on more oil than anyone else on Earth. 303.8 billion barrels. The biggest proven reserves on the planet.

That's why Trump isn't eyeing Costa Rica. Or Guatemala.

It's always about the cash flow, people.

A Show of Force

Back in 2020, we slapped a $15 million bounty on Maduro's head. Called him a narco-terrorist. A drug dealer.

Pompeo labeled Venezuela a "criminal enterprise."

The truth? The CIA hates competition.

Maduro hit back. Threatened to release the Epstein files. Great entertainment. Unless you're Venezuelan.

It could single-handedly reshape the global order… dramatically increase U.S. power…  and trigger a massive American market boom the likes of which we haven’t seen in 75 years.

Black Gold

Behind all the noise? Venezuela's oil treasure. 303.8 billion barrels. That's 18% of the world's total reserves. More than Saudi Arabia.

But here's the kicker. Their production collapsed. From 3 million barrels daily to just 800,000.

Why? Mismanagement. Corruption. And our sanctions.

US sanctions alone cost Venezuela $116 billion. No wonder they're not fans.

War of Words

Trump called Maduro a "dictator" on Truth Social. Said the oil belonged to the people.

Maduro fired back. Called it "Yankee imperialism." Said we wanted their oil, gold, and resources.

He's not wrong.

The Bigger Picture

We're not the only players here. Russia, China, Iran—they all see opportunity. A chance to stick it to America.

The Venezuelan people? They're roadkill. Hyperinflation crushing them. Shortages everywhere. Over 7 million fled their own country.

This isn't about democracy. Never was.

It's about who controls the oil spigot.

One side is a narco-socialist dictator. The other? A puppet for defense contractors.

You're not watching geopolitics. You're watching a turf war between crime families.

The name of our military operation? "Operation Democratic Stability."

You can't make this up.

China Makes Its Move

While we rattle sabers, China quietly invested over $1 billion in two Venezuelan oilfields. They plan to pump 60,000 barrels daily by 2026.

Beijing is Maduro's best friend now. They buy over 90% of Venezuela's oil exports.

Remember when they told us fossil fuels would end the world? Now we're ready to invade a country for oil. To "save democracy."

Think we'd invade for solar panels? I doubt it.

That tells you everything.

The Market Misses It

Check the S&P 500. Energy makes up just 3% of the index. Less than a quarter of Nvidia's weight.

They're chasing shiny tech toys. While real wealth sits underground.

Don't be like them.

Watch what's really happening.

That's how the rich get richer.

And the poor stay poor.

Your choice.

P.S. My old colleague George Gilder and our friends at Banyan Hill just sent me something that made my jaw drop.

You know George. Reagan's top futurist. The guy who predicted the internet boom before anyone knew what a website was.

He's telling people to "forget AI."

Says while everyone's fighting over the same AI scraps, something 80 MILLION times more powerful is being built right here in America. A 4-nanometer device that makes the chip he gave Reagan look like a calculator.

George has identified 3 companies that control this technology. And he's going public with the names.

This could be bigger than the internet. Bigger than AI.

The rich Dad team has been tracking this for months. George is rarely wrong.

Don't say I didn't warn you.
